Christophe is driven by his mission of raising awareness for people with differences – specifically dwarfism. He believes people develop the most acceptance and understanding through intentional visibility and exposure. Christophe showcases the exceptional lives of little people on his podcast I’m Kind Of A Big Deal. He also has appeared as a guest on over 50 podcasts, including Wild Ideas Worth Living (R.E.I. Studios), Culture Shift (NPR, WDET), and The Only One In The Room. He is featured with a cast of other disabled actors in DAWN and is the subject of Standing On Water, a documentary about his journey as a surfer with dwarfism. He has also produced audio and written works for iPondr. However, Christophe feels the most reward when he gets to speak to groups of people. He’s presented about creativity, the benefit of hiring disabled people, and the importance of little successes at FleishmanHillard, Autodesk, PodFest, and Podcast Movement.

I’M KIND OF A BIG DEAL PODCAST

Dwarfism is one of the only disabilities that is still wildly misunderstood. Christophe is 4’4” tall, as a result of a rare form of dwarfism, and is a journalist, audio story producer, drummer, actor, stuntman, entertainer, businessman, and an avid surfer. His show lifts the veil on this unique world by talking to people directly affected by dwarfism. Each episode sheds light on how short-statured people navigate an environment not made for them, what struggles they face, and why it’s important to hear stories from their perspective. Frankly, when it comes down to it, little people are just people, and life is a crazy trip. Tune in to hear stories about little people that don’t talk down to you.

STANDING ON WATER

This film explores the physical, mental, and societal hurdles that Christophe faces as a little person in an average-height world, and how surfing has helped him overcome the obstacles he faces in his day-to-day life.
